Our community is a beautiful reflection of the very best in us — the positivity, creativity, resilience, and strength that define our people.

At Camp Li-Am, we come together to celebrate Israeli culture, to dance, to rise above the challenges we face, and to let our spirits soar. Through dance, we celebrate life. We celebrate love. And most importantly, we celebrate each other.

This year, I felt it was important to acknowledge the events of October 7th — a day that forever changed us.
Thankfully, all the living hostages have been freed, and we continue to await the return of three more who are no longer with us.

To Lilach, Efi, Ahuva, Shimon, and Noa — thank you from the depths of my heart for sharing your stories with us. Your courage and openness allowed us to connect with October 7th on a deeper level — not just as a national tragedy, but as a profoundly personal experience that has touched every one of us.

Each of you has found a way forward — with strength, hope, and healing — and for that, we are inspired.

This weekend, as we danced and celebrated, we carried with us the memory of those we lost and the resilience of those who survived.

I also want to recognize Raz from Gdolim MehaHaim (Larger Than Life) — an extraordinary organization that supports children and youth battling cancer and their families. Raz’s own story of survival reminds us what truly matters — compassion, courage, and the power of giving.

At Camp Li-Am, one of our core values is inclusion. We are committed to ensuring that everyone who wishes to join — to dance, to connect, to belong — can do so freely, without barriers. That spirit of openness and unity is at the heart of everything we do.

This weekend was truly spectacular — not because of the music or the venue, but because of you. The energy, the love, and the shared spirit in the room made it an unforgettable experience.

My deepest thanks to my incredible team — Dudu Barzilay, Rafi Ziv, and Michael Barzelai — for your talent, dedication, and creativity. You gave us an experience we’ll never forget. 

To Shani , Effie and Eyal — thank you for everything you do. I could not have done any of this without you. You are simply the best team anyone could ask for.
